Abovo recently received awards for producing four of North Dakota’s top 2018 marketing and advertising campaigns. The awards, referred to as “ADDYs,” were given by the American Advertising Federation at their 2019 awards ceremony in Fargo on February 22. Each year, the North Dakota ADDY Awards recognize Silver and Gold marketing and advertising campaigns across the state; hundreds of submissions are received annually. Gold ADDY awards are sent to Minneapolis, MN for district judging.
This year, we received a total of four ADDY Awards comprised of one Gold ADDY and three Silver ADDYs.

Silver – “I Can. We Will.” for Client, North Dakota FFA Foundation
A Silver ADDY was awarded to Abovo in the category of digitally altered photography for our piece titled, “I Can. Abovo received a Silver ADDY for our photograph, “Roles Reversed” done for The Bunker.
Silver – “Shout Out” Self-Promotional
Abovo received a Silver Addy in the category of self-promotion for our holiday gift, “Shout Out.” The gift was inspired by the memory and recognition game, “Spot It,” and was adapted to feature imagery from our clients, team members and the state of North Dakota. Elements taken into consideration for this piece included graphic design, packaging, and virtual reality integration.
“We are so proud and thankful to be able to work with incredible clients and friends every day,” says Andrew Young, Creative Director. “To be recognized for the hard work our team has done over the past year is a great honor, and we are very grateful to have the trust of our clients to create really unique and special campaigns.”
