ABOUT FCCU

First Community Credit Union (FCCU), with roughly $1.1B in assets, is the largest credit union in North Dakota. Since opening in Jamestown, North Dakota in 1939 they have grown to 29 branches in towns of all sizes serving over 45,000 members. FCCU was recently named Community Credit Union of the year by Credit Union National Association, a national award judged on the criteria of a credit union’s level of service to its members, community and financial condition.

Increase credit union member enrollment by positioning one of FCCU’s attractive products, offered to members only, KASASA® Checking Accounts

Create a fun, lighthearted and bright campaign highlighting the total amount of reward dollars given to members by showcasing FCCU team members celebrating in different ways

ABOUT THE PROJECT

When FCCU came to us with this project, their only instruction was “We want this campaign to be bold and fun.” Part of creative process included a visit to their corporate headquarters to brainstorm with their marketing and leadership team. Many ideas were shared and discussed. Team Abovo and FCCU all agreed utilizing FCCU team members by showing them each celebrating in unique and different ways fit their brand, voice and effectively delivered the message. The slogan and theme was designed for use on multiple platforms and mediums, resulting in a cohesive campaign no matter where it touched consumers.
