Andrew Young, the Creative Director and founder of Abovo, has always been passionate about storytelling. With a background/degree in journalism, Andrew initially envisioned a lifelong career in the field, believing in the power of narrative to connect people. However, his journey led him to discover that marketing, like journalism, is all about telling a compelling story.
Andrew’s career has taken him around the world, including roles at ABC Network News, the Academy of Country Music and the sporting goods retailer, SCHEELS. These diverse experiences have shaped his unique approach to creative marketing. Now settled in Fargo with his husband Jeremy and daughter Mari, Andrew helps brands find their voice and engage authentically with their audiences.
When he’s not crafting marketing strategies, Andrew is always on the lookout for new experiences, whether it’s trying something for the first time, exploring new places, working on Airbnb properties, or planning the next costume party.
