Their coconut spreads, made from ethically sourced coconuts, offer a versatile and nutritious alternative to traditional spreads, perfect for a variety of dietary preferences including vegan, gluten-free and organic.

Over the years, Kokada has grown from a humble startup to a beloved brand among health enthusiasts and culinary adventurers alike (you can find them in over 1,600 stores across the US!). Team Abovo is very proud to have been part of their journey from the very beginning, initially working with them to create their brand and packaging. Their commitment to quality, sustainability and community has not only set them apart in the crowded marketplace but also fostered a loyal following. THE CHALLENGE

As Kokada expanded its reach and product line, it became increasingly evident that a cohesive brand identity was essential to maintain consistency and clarity across all platforms and touchpoints. The risk of diluting the brand’s essence and message was real, as inconsistencies could emerge in visual and verbal communications. Recognizing this critical need, Team Abovo proactively approached Kokada with a solution aimed at fortifying the brand’s foundation for sustained growth and market presence.

THE SOLUTION

Abovo’s initiative led to the creation of an extensive 60-page Brand Style Guide for Kokada, meticulously crafted to encapsulate the brand’s core values, aesthetic and voice. This guide is not just a set of rules; it is a blueprint for the brand’s future, ensuring every piece of communication, from packaging to digital content, continues to be infused with Kokada’s unique identity. The comprehensive guide covered every aspect of the brand, including typography, color palettes, imagery and tone of voice, providing clear directives for maintaining brand consistency. From the early days of Zoom coaching and brainstorming sessions fueled by the potential of what Kokada could become, to the present, where Kokada’s products grace over 1,600 stores across the USA, the journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Team Abovo has been there every step of the way, from the initial brand conceptualization to the comprehensive Brand Style Guide that now serves as Kokada’s branding blueprint. This project, like the brand it represents, was built on a foundation of trust, creativity and a shared value of quality.
