Abovo recently received awards for producing four of North Dakota’s top 2018 marketing and advertising campaigns. The awards, referred to as “ADDYs,” were given by the American Advertising Federation at their 2019 awards ceremony in Fargo on February 22. Each year, the North Dakota ADDY Awards recognize Silver and Gold marketing and advertising campaigns across the state; hundreds of submissions are received annually. Gold ADDY awards are sent to Minneapolis, MN for district judging.
This year, we received a total of four ADDY Awards comprised of one Gold ADDY and three Silver ADDYs.
Award – “Engagement Packet” for Client Wimmer’s
A Gold ADDY was awarded for our “Engagement Packet” created for Fargo-based jeweler, Wimmer’s. The ongoing direct mail campaign with digital layering consists of a custom designed packet that is sent to newly-engaged couples and features a special surprise for the couple placed at the end of the packet.
“This campaign has been incredible to work on throughout the past year,” says Jennifer Hicks, Account Manager here at Abovo. “The surprise ending to these packets is really charming and it’s been really neat to see the reactions of customers.”
Abovo was also awarded three Silver ADDYs for our work with the North Dakota FFA Foundation, The Bunker and for a self-promotional holiday gift.
